Ok, so the fl is shy, which is not necessarily a problem, but if you're looking for a strong female lead, she's not it. I don't mind not having a strong female protagonist, but it can be frustrating at times since she doesn't seem to have much of a personality other than being shy. And I suppose kind, but that's very much it. She likes to read but other than her telling us this, we don't see her do anything with that. We don't see her read. We don't see her enjoy anything other than being with the male lead, really.
Second, the male lead is a bit frustrating. He's so harsh and doesn't communicate properly. Which at one point is addressed, but I'm not fully convinced that that's going anywhere.
The narrative in itself seems a bit childish to me. You won't be getting a mature story with conflicts that are very complex and such.
I also did feel like the romantic aspect of the story is a bit lacking. The only "romantic act" so to speak was her consenting to have the first night. But after that they're not very loving to each other, they don't have many lovey dovey moments.
The plot is childish and the characters are not particularly good either. I'm not particularly entertained and I don't think I will be following this further.
