I think it’s cause the redemption wont be enough. Dan suffered a lot of emotional and physical trauma from Jaekyung. It wouldnt be enough for five chapters of Jaekyung regretting it. He did some very terrible things. He deserves to feel a lot of remorse and shame, and in all honesty it would be more satisfying is Dan straight up ignored him indefinitely. But it’s still fiction, so they’re gonna end up together. Lets just hope it was be satisfying and bring justice to Jaekyung’s blatant abuse. Nothing is more satisfying than watching a man realize how much he fucked up and living with the consequences.
