    It’s the switch up. He may be called obsessive but obsession takes many forms and what he seemed to be was clingy but not toxic. Now he’s toxic and people aren’t liking that (including me). If he’s going to have toxic traits, he should have led with that and been possessive-obsessive from the start. I don’t mind possessive-obsessive characters at all if they show up that way and maintain it. But he seems well-adjusted, kind, courteous, sympathetic and caring but then he treats her like a child and “grounds” her and invades her privacy by looking through her mail including confidential business documents and correspondence. That’s abusive. There’s a line between “tehe he glares at men who look at her” and straight up isolation. There’s another webtoon and the dude is possessive obsessive and he special ordered medication to help curb his urges to restrict her specifically because he didn’t want to abuse her. That’s what we want.
