Translation is so ass. At some point it switches pronouns multiple times, like the team can't differentiate from "me, I, she, her, he, him" like who tf is this speech bubble about since the whole sentence is completely unrelated.

Other than the pronouns, I can't even tell if this is the fault of the writer or the translation group missing it, but the way it speedran through the lore about the past gave me whiplash, it's like one thing to the next.

Is the novel any better? Kind of interested but not if the MC who has the mentality of an old woman has a love interest.

I'm unaware if someone's translated it, but if you're having trouble with pronouns now, I cannot recommend MTL in general.

Even if there is a translation somewhere, I can't really recommend the novel, either. (It's only really tolerable TO ME if I just read the POV of characters other than the MC. The supporting cast is just more interesting, as a whole.)

You don't have to worry about the MC having a love interest; everyone is just a cute child to her. The closest person to an ML doesn't get the baby treatment as much (he's just powerful enough magically to follow her without needing to be carried, but obviously still much weaker than she is), but she's still not really interested in him. As I recall, she does get to meet her husband again, but he's definitely a ghost. So they aren't likely to get back together in the next life, which would have been the best option here. ╥﹏╥

It's been a few months since I checked in on the novel (it's ongoing), but given the pacing, I'd be surprised if the MC decided to get herself a lover now. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

the reason why pronouns aren't clear in the translation is probably because it's machine translated. as pronouns in japanese don't really carry genders or adress like in english, the machine doesn't have the capacity to use context clues (like who's talking to whom) to translate the pronouns correctly like a human would, so the translation is willy nilly and changes arbitrarily
