So ray is alive but he is mentally unstable or has amnesia which is why he addresses owen as nile and owen is by his side and taking care of him.. and I am supposed to be happy with this ending? This was heart wrenching to see how raymond cared about his people and helped but at the end he was labelled as queen’s rat and never got any recognition for his sacrifices, this story was soo heartbreakingly beautiful and after finishing it I just don’t know how I am supposed to read the next one and be invested…
