Same. That ring moment had me roll my eyes so hard it hurt.
Even if not weak at least have some brain, i would have let her take the ring if i can’t defend myself and go accuse her of theft in front of everyone with the proof being on her fingers.
Why do authors make female leads so weak? Is it so hard to just slap somebody, kick them, pick something up and throw it. Like, there's just no way I would have let shit like this happen to me. The sister came into her room- alone! No guards, no back up. Shes one person, MC can stand up to two grown as men but she can't do nothing against this one girl. I get she was abused but she wasn't this weak at the start. I got a stop reading these types of stories it's ruining my brain and killing my patience.
