The artist apparently changed the ending just because she liked the villain (at least that’s what people on social media are saying) But you can check out the latest chapter yourself since it’s completely different from the novel.
Oh wow... I stopped reading it and marinated it again when MC started becoming like the MC from Lady Baby and the story just kind of went meh for me
Yeah, same. I dropped it around chapter 20 something because I got bored, but then I started reading the novel instead. I decided to let it marinate until it finished since the novel was actually really good, but I never expected the artist to completely change the ending. ╥﹏╥
i think sometimes it can be good -- like in the case of wmmap, spoon changed the ending
Lately it feels like artists are acting more like drama directors. They’ll pick up a popular or promising novel and then completely change the story to fit whatever they want. I’m still so frustrated about what happened with into the Light Once Again. （/TДT)/
