I know but I really want the mistress plan to fail lol. It could also make him feel guilty towards her to see she cares deeply for him throwing another wrench in her plan.
Even tho I dont like her husband I kinda hope that she does save him as well to prevent the mistress plan from working. Like after the painter saves her she runs and save her husband or pretend like she cares and check on him give him some comfort. So then the audience is like oh my god her majesty really care about her husband. Leaving the mistress to seethe in anger and her husband captured by her courage and beauty.
