because the more common nickname for lorenzo is Enzo and loren is the girl version as it sounds like lauren. the english translation isn’t necessarily the direct translation, it often caters to its audience.

Also unrelated point; in the raws Rian calls him Loren and not Enzo. I don’t know why the English localization went with Enzo. Loren sounds much better imo.
