i don't think you read the plot the whole point of this relationship is because they're both selfish for each other the seme wants the love of a partner and the uke wants a love of family and their is a power imbalance and dysfunctionality beacuse of their age gap and how they met for the first time so yeah the way they're both acting is justified and the whole communication thing trust me in real life also communication is not something that comes easily for anyone so this is fiction and the core of the plot

Right?? with the way the author portraits him, it's just plain annoying at this point. He behaves in a way that doesn't make any sense. I get that the whole miscomunication trope its the point here, but you have to de - escalate things at some point and have them actually talk / be a couple, right? When will THAT happen? Instead it's the same jumping to conclusions and running away.
Imo it's not that we are hating on him, we are hating on the pacing as a whole, and the seme is the one being used to extend the trope to no end, so he is front and center on the stage when it comes to our frustration.
wait why everyone hating on beta seme for his attitude? i mean its clear uke only agreed to be in a relationship with seme cause he just wanna stop seme from leaving/be independent. if i know that someone i like is only dating me just for the sake of xyz and not because its mutual, obviously it would make me sad right? what, should i be a golden retriever after begging someone to date me and they give in to it ?? /gen
