From what I can see, I'm assuming the author is going down the classic road of "Shitty male lead realizes his mistakes and does everything in his power to make up for it until love interest finally forgives him" which is pretty common in these style of manhwa's. definitely not a desirable trope, but I do hope she writes it so that Jaekyung will genuinely look at the things he did and give sincere apologies (+ actually change his ways.) and definitely not a quick "sorry for being an ass, lets date," but he spends MONTHS becoming a better person and doing anything in his power to make it up to Dan. He's on the right path, I'm just not sure if he'll really stay on it

Yeah, if you really think about it, Jaekyung's personality totally changed. Dude was all cold and angry before, but now he's having deep thoughts and actually reflecting on his actions. Feels like a whole new character tbh.
That's why people are starting to like him, the author basically swapped him out. OG Jaekyung from the beginning? Gone forever. This is just some nice guy with his face now lmao.
I feel like it's not so easy to forgive the kind of abuse dan was out through because of jaekyung. He realised he was at fault, that well and good but wasn't dan basically graped, physically assaulted (?) and humiliated etc etc.. those are not easy things to forget you know. You may pretend you forgot and think you're fine but you see their face and it's all you will be reminded of.. I just don't understand how the author is planning to bring them together after everything that has happened.
