omg it's so interesting to read about real mythology with these characters!

Mythology has a lot of variations from region to region tho. Like im not denying all of what you said but there are certain variations where he's worshipped with horus as well as a combined form where both of them rule egypt togetehr one upper egypt one lower Egypt. Also pls dont hate me but in this manhwa seth actually DOES love horus. He loved nephyths too but its not that he's never loved horus or never will. There are so many types of love and what he shared with neph was indeed a harmonious marriage even if their married life was doomed from the start. But if u re read the last two panels youd see he never wanted to break up with horus. He kept saying they'll talk later he just wanted to go meet nephyths because their parting wasnt good n with such a huge misunderstanding finally coming to light a confrontation was much needed but horus in his insecurities and immaturity misunderstood Seth. I mean he knows seth best. He knows even if seth were to love him seth was a guy of honor and loyalty and he would obv put his former family first for now.. mind u, the big reveal abt neph not cheating didnt shock seth as much as mirror lying to him abt horus fake love. His eyes literally went vacant and he repeated the mirror's words. In last ch we see him mutter that he knew nobody would really love him for himself and this is also one of the reasons why he wanted to run away so much. He feels betrayed emotionally and wished to sought refuge in comforts of familiarity n nostalgia a place of the past where he thinks he would be welcomed aka neph.

I explained a bit abt the circumstances around their marriage IN this manhwa how mojito created it. I know lore accurate seth is a guy who loves his wife neph dearly in all popular variations but there are some variation routes where he's with horus too ahaha. Oh btw no hate pls Im simply sharing some of my views n analysis based on the plot here. (●'◡'●)ﾉ

It's clear that heloves Nephthys from how he behaves? Man, if that's his "love" I in Nephthys' place would've divorced his azz EONS AGO... cause, from *Nephthys'* perspective:
1) Seth abused their son to the point Anubis commited suicide (revealed in chapter 19);
2) Seth imprisoned her sister who was innocent (Isis), and even threatened to rape her;
3) Seth turned the kingdom they had strived to protect into a nightmarish hellhole.
4) Seth not only killed women and children, but destroyed their souls, denying them an afterlife.
5) Seth put a deadly curse on their son's arm, that almost erased their son's existence.
6) Seth never told her about Osiris' repeated attempts to get their son killed, sacrificed, or mistreated and having his mouth stitched.

THIS!! and before being someone's mother she's also "someone" her own identity. First n foremost she's literally goddess of peace and harmony and to have peace disrupted n harmony throttled out in worst ways ever.. to see egypt turned upside down where women are soo rare in population now due to seths indiscriminately mindless killings and the few women/children who are unlucky alive are caught and sold daily by carravan cults. Neph isnr innocent either but here in osiris mega mastermind plans she's another pitiful victim whos suffered a lot like seth. Like omg horus seth and neph isis anubis khnum everyone is suffering because of osiris. but yeah seth neph did have a happy marriage which they unfortunately cant reconcile anymore cus theyre wayyyy past that and seth does love horus and unlike last time where he was forced into a marriage with neph by osiris and had the arrange marriage love live here he's loving horus by his own choice not any outsider manipulation.

What you said is basically why she rejects him in the raws when he goes to see her. She's absolutely disgusting with what he did. And when Seth goes to say "but you're all i have" she looks at him n goes "is that really true? And what about horus?" Like brother theres no way you thought you could just go back to everything being "normal" as if you didnt do what you did, thats the whole point of you suppose to be repenting

Set isn't gay though, hes a victim... i mean im going based on the most recognised version of the mythology, but in one version horus literally raped him to death, brother idc its obsession not love + Seth clearly doesnt appreciate Horus "hes just a tsundere" no!!! Hes being manipulated and sexually harassed!!!

Yeah, and now that you mention Nephthys 's role as goddess of peace and harmony, we can add another item for her to be mad at Seth:

7) How Seth has failed to let Nephthys know that her sacrifice is wasted now, of having given all her power of peace and harmony to Seth himself, instead of to Anubis (because she had trusted that, compared to Anubis, Seth would have more chances of finding ways to solve the curse, in time to save Anubis' life), when Nephthys would certainly deserve to know that this previous sacrifice of hers has already gone to waste, since her son Anubis is about to die anyway, because Osiris is now forcing Anubis to eat Seth's part of the curse in order to get rid of the curse in Seth's bracelet, becoming a cursed vessel so that he can die in Seth's place. ...So... you'd think the goddess of harmony would deserve to know how her efforts to save her son along with the cursed souls are now completely wasted, as 'someone' (Osiris) has managed to thwart them all, and put her her son's back again in mortal peril... You'd think the goddess of peace would deserve to be updated on this piece of news, since she'd sacrificed so much by giving her entire power away, only for it to end like that... But NO, Seth feels it's a more urgent priority to confirm whether Nephthys once loved him, than to warn her about the impending danger her son's AGAIN been put in, by someone obsessed with making her son die in Seth's place...

Seth is a victim as well as a war criminal with uncountable crimes in his record. Two things can exist. Like did we forget HE was first there to rape horus and wanted to rape isis too in his madness (osiris fault but ) even in canon mythology versions he's first there to rape horus And does it too. If u srsly think seth doesnt appreciate or love horus oh man youre in so much surprise lol Im dying to spoil u but im gonna hold back for your sake. He is a tsundere tho like idk what makes u think he's super cheerful wearing heart on sleeve guy. He's always been deeply emotional but with a bad record at relationships and I dont mean canon seth. I mean the seth in this manhwa. The only relationship he was manipulated into was with nephyths by osiris. He got with horus on his own and fell in love on his own too. I mean its a complex manhwa but not that complex to not pick up nuances. Unless youre purposely picking up what fits your desired narrative. But in either way if it wasnt already clear to u the upcoming chapters will spell things out literally whether u fw it or not.

Thanks for being respectful, its a rare occurance nowadays, Seth's stories are one of my biggest passions, but i feel like he tolerates Horus, putting up with his antics rather than outright loving him. Seth is a good guy at heart, like see how sweet he was with that kitten. I know that this story goes off a less popular version of the mythology (plus its a super watered down version of it lol). But yeah, its a fanfic basically, but to me even in this story Seth and Horus have absolutely no chemistry lol (￣∇￣")
