At that time, yes. But he also manifested later ( the artist messed up his eyecolor). Just because Chase was normal back then doesn't mean that how he is now is solely the family's fault. Some trauma? -certainly, but his violent behaviour probably more because of manifesting. I mean Keith has anger issues. And those two have mild problems compared to the ones manifested early.

yeahh i wanted to see more of chase's family but...given the spoilers about his father, the other sons and the incest(?) thingy going on... poor chase is literally the only one sane in that household
