Not that their relationship is good but the ex is 1-2 years older than Akemi. He was their senior at school who graduated the previous year. Idr why the ex married so fast but he isn't much older. Although I don't understand why the ex wanted Akemi to chase him, rather than waiting a few years.
he was in senior (17 - 19) year while akemi was a freshman (14 - 15) at least, it's not much difference but he wanted to be chased like the only option, even tho he seemed to have a backup plan all along
