I would say that Zig writes pretty diverse characters, I have read most of the omegaverse novels written by Zig and the transitions between one and another is pretty interesting, we have Yeonwoo in Kiss me liar described as a walking beauty with “feminine” features and then we have Dane from Desire me if you can that’s really independent and manly, and both of them are omegas.
Josh and Chase are a clear example of how their traits as “alpha” or “omega” don’t define their submission or dominance, they just develop their dynamic while the relationship advances.

Yeonwoo was a beta turned omega. And yes he is feminine, because of Keith's taste.
If you followed that author early on, you would have known who was meant for Grayson from the very beginning, because she mentioned the name: Dane Striker and his secondary gender: dominant omega, on twitter back then. This spring she wrote that Grayson's story was the first she came up with when she started with omegaverse....that was 10 years ago.... .
So Dane was set in stone to become Grayson's pair from the beginning. And if you read Kiss me liar you know how Dane looks like and what he is like.
So there is an even manlier uke than Josh.:D
This is a personal preference but I don't love feminine ukes. If the story is good enough, I can overlook it but a manly strong omega uke cannot be beaten! I'm surprised that the author "kiss me liar" who gave us one of the most feminine ukes ever also gave us this masterpiece. I'm pleasanly surprised
