Her friend that wrote the book and her, Lucy and Sena..Are originally from that world but could be something happened *don't know what it is yet* that involves the mythical creatures (dragon/wolves) to wound up time and place their soul into the modern world. Then her friend (Sena) still remember it so she wrote the book but placing Lucy as the villain when it was actually Claire that was it (since she want some badly to be the heroine) .. That's why when they were back on their original world almost nothing is similar from what the book said... Bec the book was a mix of truth and wishfull thinking of the writer... I will see if my speculation is correct on the next chapters..The Art was so beautifulllll
