Yechan has a shit home life
Hyeon is part of some cult that kills people
Hyeon shows up in town and befriends Yechan
Yechan clings to Hyeon as the only bright spot in his life
A detective wants to convict Hyeon because Hyeon killed his daughter
Hyeon and Yechan both care deeply about each other.
Hyeon is caught between his duty to his church/family and his feelings. It seems he was groomed to be a messianic figure but he doesnt actually want to kill or feels guilt over hurting people and seeing people get hurt.
Yechan is pushed to the brink of despair by his family and goes running to Hyeon as his only safe space.
Unfortunately he's going to be the latest murder victim, and Hyeon tries to warn him away to mo avail.
