oh my god, riku is a fascinating character because of his biases, blatant hate for women and self-centered habits (not justifying it, just pointing out how interesting his psyche is), he feels entitled to his relationship with yuria's husband, and to him, yuria is a wife that should stay the humiliated wife, and not a person with agency, restarting her life.
because he is misogynistic, it's no wonder that he believes that yuria should stay with her husband all the time until the day he gains agency and leaves her (which, to he honest, I don't think it will ever come). His very own classification of women in his head has made him believe that he is a true romantic, and his actions are justified because HE is looking for true love, and yuria (to him, probably) is doing it out of spite. in his head, yuria is an accessory to his oh- so beloved man, and she must stay as such, until the day she is no longer needed or wanted. he is just, he has wrapped himself around this very thick bubble and actively refuses to get out of his own views
this guy really is the worst, oh my god, like, does he know that he wouldn't be chosen, right? like, even if yuria's husband said he loved him, he put yuria before riku (not justifying her husband either, he is a piece of shit), but like, i doubt that riku would have been the one to be chosen out of the three main characters. like, i'm so sorry to break it put to you, riku, my guy, but, you were not loved, and you probably won't be chosen. and I say this mostly bc of the chapter where the husband apparently became agitated after yuria left for a day, and riku was clueless as to why he would be so restless with just him.
