Yeah… he isn’t the same Kloff, but he isn’t exactly any better. He didn’t court Aeroc, he was rude to him in the beginning, grabbing him (his employer) screaming at him. We see how homophobic he is…
When his engagement with Rapiel was broken, he threw the ring away like it was nothing, Rapiel was in tears.
It shows what sort of man Kloff is. Also he suddenly went after Aeroc, wanting a relationship, without any context after all that rudeness. And then he rapes him, coerces him like this is the most normal start a relationship ‘marry me! have my kids!’
He had to see Aeroc at his worst to fix his attitude. It wasn’t shown in the manhwa and was just got a brief mention in the novel, the library sex shows how selfish Kloff was. Aeroc isn’t ready to have kids, much less a relationship, but Kloff wanted a footing in Aeroc’s life. As much as Aeroc wanted his kids back… he should have healed first. They could have had a good relationship without getting too serious…
We didn’t exactly see how this relationship takes off after Lenoc’s birth. Kloff fixed his relationship along the way, but it’s hard to not hate someone who puts their interest first. So, yeah I hate Kloff this and the original one.
To those hating on Kloff from the 2nd life: he's not the same person! This story works with the concept of timelines, and each time you "rewind" it, it's as if the previous one had existed and those people are still there (if they're alive). But when a character goes back in time (as is the case with Aeroc in this timeline), that character is the same, but the others aren't! The Kloff you're hating didn't do anything and doesn't deserve this hate. The one from the 1st life did, and he will get his punishment when he goes back in time (in the story, it will be in the 3rd life).
