No cause u r so right— I keep on seeing comments blaming Danwoo for “playing around with two men” but bro is j naive, albeit a little stupid !!!
Woori knows damn well what he’s doing (which is so distasteful/misleading), and Taehan is so emotionally constipated. Both suck, Woori j sucks a little more.
Sorry to say, but I must be one of the 5 people rooting for Taehan instead of Woori. They both have their issues but at least Taehan is upfront about the things he would and wouldn’t feel comfortable doing and although both he and Danwoo have clear feelings for each other, he still tries to stay in his lane (albeit terribly because he’s a jealous mf to boot lmao) but Woori is so manipulative it’s crazy. He knows how naive Danwoo is and instead of being upfront with his intentions, he keeps luring DW in with these friend-like activities that end up turning sexual. DW literally calls him his bestfriend and even though he’s clueless to a fault, the responsibility does not lie on him to attempt to figure out what someone’s intentions are if they’re not upfront about them. I absolutely hated the movie theater scene because now he’s confused and I hope he doesn’t assume that friends can do anything to each other in the form of “helping out” like Woori suggests. Woori needs to grow a pair and confess, but of course he won’t because deep down he knows how much Danwoo likes Taehan and instead of risking rejection, Woori would rather snake his way into Danwoo’s pants by any means necessary.
At least Taehan and his issues with intimacy and permanent relationships can be resolved. He can work on opening himself up to the people he loves because he so obviously likes Danwoo back but he’s so used to treating everything as short term that now that he has someone he wants a future with, he’ll finally grow up in that aspect. I think having Danwoo in his life is really good because it forces him to address whatever makes him so averse to long term partners while also teaching Danwoo about being assertive with the things he wants and drawing lines when he needs to. This sleepover is going to be a turning point for everyone and I hope that Woori learns from his selfish actions and Taehan also comes to terms with his true feelings for DW. I don’t agree with DW messing around with two men but if he’s led under false pretense each time then I don’t blame him. He’s just a sweetie who has a sensitive body and made the mistake of letting two dummies know about it. The difference is he specifically told Taehan his problem and they have a thing going there that is consensual (although sometimes questionable) but still100% consensual vs. Woori figuring it out on his own and touching Danwoo without permission KNOWING the effect it has on him and now he uses that knowledge to get what he wants without having to say it because he knows there will be boundaries set otherwise.
I won’t discount Danwoo enjoying the actual act in the bathroom and hoping for more, but he’s young and loves sex just like anyone, it’s just unfortunate that this would fall under coercion because the correct pretext was not set by Woori knowing it would result in a different outcome for him. Maybe we need a third more chaotic love interest like the celeb guy who keeps stalking Danwoo so they can fall in love with intention and honesty from the jump lol
