It's so wild how people aren't realizing the deeper context because they only read one chapter at time forgetting the previous chapters. Crazy to say Jo and Ian aren't meant to last when these last 3 chapters have shown it is tj and Ian who aren't mean to last. Ian is not gravitating to tj. He's just trying to find a solution. Ian believes he deserves the worse which is why he says that Jo is too good for him. So him saying that and then the next chapter saying to start with tj isn't a good sign because it implies Ian has settled for less lol
