I kinda hate this story but ironically??? Like non of the characters are likable and they're all horrible people and I'm including Raymon in this because even though he is a victim he still did some shitty stuff to winter and being a victim doesn't absolve him of that. When season 2 came out I was really curious on how the author would write Raymon now that winter is out of the picture and was greatly disappointed by the writing of Dominic because I instantly knew where this was headed. I was not surprised that Dominic turned out to be the devil because I knew this was just a way for the author to prep us for winters return. Basically the author did a tactic that a lot of dark romances with love triangles do and that is to introduce the second lead and have them be so evil that the readers either forget or rationalise that whatever the first lead did "wasn't that bad in comparison" which allows the story to pursue the first lead with out major backlash from the reader base. Also the story having a happy ending without addressing the fact that neither Raymon or Winter have changed fundamentally feels icky. Winter is still an obsessive freak with rape on his mind and Raymon still has insane intimacy issues that need to be addressed but maybe that's just me taking the story too seriously. Anyways the art is good and the sex is steamy that's all.
