I read the novel but there wasn’t a version of Ido's pov ( or at least i didn't find it) but if you think from ido's pov, he married someone he never met before because his family was kinda blackmailed by sejin's father into the marriage, and after he marries him, he somehow did in fact fell for sejin. But then sejin stole those documents from him for his father, and in the novel it was quite specific that he got mad at sejin Because he had quite a lot of time to confess that he took those documents, but he didnt and that only proves how much sejin Didn't trust ido. That's why ido was mad. During their cold period, he suddenly learned that Sejin is missing and he slept with his brother ( Sejin wasnt the gift ido's brother was mentioning, it was something insignificant), so he Thought sejin slept with his brother intentionally to piss him off.
And only after bonding with him did he finally get sejin's circumstances. And he would beg every night to sejin while he(sejin) slept. He was ignoring sejin Because he was so guilty he couldn’t face him. That guilt followed him in 2nd timeline.
