Hello everyone! We're back after a short break, and is it just me or do things look....different?
Tldr: in 60 June shows us Edgar has always been depressed and low-key suicidal, and runs to him. In 61 they find comfort in each other once more before an interesting ending to the chapter.
So chapter 60. We see June running to find Edgar, accompanied by some flash backs of their shared childhood. In the factory they grew up in, child suicide was common, and Edgar always observed the "rescues" from a dangerously high vantage point everytime he felt hopeless. He confided in June that he sympathizes with the dead, and how every day feels pointless and like a living he'll. June makes him promise to stay with her throughout life, as she will always need him and love him.
Back to the present, June gets there just in time and Edgar says that she truly loves him. June confirms that yes she does, but not the kissing type (romantically). They hug and truly embrace one another physically and emotionally, as they are the only ones who know exactly what the other is going through.
In 61, we see both of them sitting together on a hill top and just find comfort with each other. June reveals that she is dying, and edgar is understandably distressed, as he had just said that as long as they had each other everything would be okay. June makes Edgar promise to be with her until the end as the man she once knew. Edgar takes this as a romantic gesture, but June meant she needs someone stable and grounding, and that is who Edgar is to her. In exchange, Edgar says she needs to go to the doctor to try and find treatment, to which June says nothing.
Finally, we cut away to stage directions narrating edgar speaking to his therapist, then when we switch back to normal perspective we see edgar both speaking about June in the past tense and dressed like a noble man.
MY PERSONAL PREDICTION (MEANING IDK IF THIS WILL HAPPEN ITS JUST A GUESS) is that June and Edgar kill Cameron, June dies in Edgar's company as she wished, and Edgar inherits the estate as the one deemed most worthy/closest living relative.
And thats a wrap for this week folks! Im sorry this was so late, my cat refused to let me do anything today insisting today is a cuddle day. See yall next time!
