It wasn't on purpose. He meant to make him a medicine that would give him energy or help him with studying or something but whatever it was turned him into an alpha instead.

Wait....why did he give him the pill knowing its effect? Did I miss something? MC seemed to care for ML, maybe not romantically, but he liked him. So, why do this without his consent and at such an important time like his exams?
