The manhwa basically summarized what actually happened in the novel, which is longer; hence it felt underwhelming after the buildup from previous chapters.

I think maybe also the fact that this comment section has been at a fever pitch dreading this moment for so long… it’s hard to live up to that kind of hype

calling it underwhelming is craaazy considering everything he went through prior to this moment, it probably feels that way because of how fast it went by, but underwhelming? no way

I mean I have to agree It is underwhelming. But not the situation but it's the art. I feel like the artist wasn't able to draw it with depressive atmosphere. this specific chapter feels like kind of light compared to the other chapters. I feel likes it's missing dark tones or shadows
