So Ido discovered truth (of sejin’s upbringing, assault, etc…) a right after they bonded the first time? There was that quick line about sharing memories… was that expanded upon in the novel? So he had instant regrets? But then avoided him anyway?

I think it was more so sharing emotions like you could feel the other person's emotions even if you don't want to rather than actual memories so he might have known how he felt in that moment but not what actually happened to him

The more I think about it, the more I’m feeling like ido must’ve gotten the whole picture after the first bonding… because isn’t this flashback all of ido’s memories going to Sejin in the present since they’ve just bonded again?

Yeah he got the whole shebang.. even how he was raised neglectfully by his parents.. he inherited all of his emotions and how he envisioned them as well

<Spoiler> i think the memories are kinda vague. Like the imprint doesn't give him fully formed memories but just phenomenons and feelings. In his flash back, he said that while Sejin was unconscious for a week after the imprint, he watched the CCTV of his bro bringing Sejin up to Sejin's room.

He also pieced that Sejins family neglect piece by piece by the way Sejin would not stand up for himself

In their 2nd life, he also investigated Sejins birth parents.if he really received Sejin's memories, he wouldnt have asked Sejin for all these things. And vice versa, Sejin asked him about his memories in their 2nd life when they finally got together</spoiler>
