I feel like you're being naive on purpose. Yeah dami is a child and should be treated as such, but don't try to paint her clothes being tight as a "phase we all had in our adolescence". You could practically smell the weirdness coming off this art don't play dumb. Nobody said that the characters had to be ugly but they could have definently made an effort to somewhat resemble real people. Like the erasure of the mc's wrinkles was bs. I feel like people are misreading dami because the author sucks at writing female characters in general. Like dami doesn't even have a daughter-like bond with her father fr. For how much he supposedly cares about her we never even see them bond.
Your right, it doesn't feel like a father daughter bond, for a single father they need to be even closer in a familal way, instead they are close in this weird, female friend of best friend way. The author definitely can't draw or write female characters properlyand seems to have a sexy character preference especially for the main character and this is notted ,his behaviour before we saw more of his personality was more fatherly than what we are seeing now, and I think its may be because the author doesn't know how to right a father daughter dynamic, because there are many different ways to write a father sacrificing his life for his daughter and the way they decided to go whether they meant it or not is pretty fucking weird am not going to use the word incestuous cause that too far.
To all the people who think dami is being sexualized, I don’t think so. All you can really say is that the body is tea. ‘But her clothes are so tight”, listen, we all had that phase at least once or twice in our adolescence. Also, to the people who see her inappropriately, it’s your brain that thinks it that way bc I read this story just fine and I didn’t feel anything at all towards her. Like literally nothing. And to bring up another point I saw someone say. It’s not just the girls who are drawn that way. Our MC and even the brigade commander are drawn sexy as well. But our eyes perceive differently because we like hot men. So give the artist the benefit of the doubt, I think they just like sexy character designs. And I don’t blame them because it draws readers in. Bc who would read this if the art is buns? I’d bet my left titty I’d see hella people complaining about it in the comment section.
