Exactly! This is why I believe ido should not be forgiven in the second timeline either. He was forced to realise the truth by the bond. If the concept of “getting your partner’s memories after bonding” didn’t exist, he would’ve continued to torture sejin. This is why he’s unforgivable in my eyes. He can grovel and try to redeem himself all he wants. But he surely does not deserve sejin’s love and companionship. Neither in the previous life nor in the second one.
You might be onto something. I hadn't seen it that way but it's absolutely true!!? He only feels terrible because he was indeed 'forced' to see the truth about sejin. God!!! This makes it so damn frustrating!

After the forced bonding, Ido finally knows what really happened in Sejin's life. Sejin's memory and whole life experience become another memory for Ido. That explain why Ido said that only when Sejin asleep. He has no guts to face Sejin properly. Then again, it took the need for Ido having Sejin's memory to believe on Sejin. Some background check and a moment of thinking about Sejin's behaviour will come to the same conclusion; Sejin actually is innocent.
