He had a seizure. He did drink the poison. That’s why he fainted. The long hair guy did say he saw him drink the glass. Why are you trying to change the narrative. The whole reason of this chapter is so long hair guy discovered the bottom is immortal. Some of you have the plot explained with pears and apples and yet you still try to interpret it differently. Smh

I think he did drink it, however, he did not die. Remember what was shown in chapter 5, when Demis injected something into Dante, he said he had given him a lethal dose but he was just starting to feel it... So, I think the lethal dosage of any substance that would take to kill Dante would be superior to that of what the priest put in his drink, and that only made Dante fall asleep, not die. We also see how the other two victims (the rat and the waiter) show clear signs of poisoning, by foaming through the mouth, we do not see that happening to Dante. The priest also says Dante has been lying on the couch for hours and, even though it is known that Dante is starting to take longer to come back to life after dying, I don't think it would take him that longer to revive from poisoning. We also see that he is clearly sleeping before Demis wakes him up, so far we it has not been shown that Dante falls asleep after dying, he usually revives quite "dramatically". This is just my opinion, take it however you want :)
I thought my boy drank "the poison" but I think he got alcohol poison. It makes more sense since he didn't have a seizure, but the guy did.He basically drank the wrong bottle.Im so dumb it took me way too long to realize (Pls correct me if I'm wrong)
