But the difference is yujin doesn't know jihos home life because he never said anything. We do, so ofc we're going to see things differently than yujin since we know the whole story. We obviously have empathy for jiho and I feel bad for his situation but he should have at least said something, a lie or whatever when leaving. And im assuming they're both each others first love. Ofc it'll hit hard if ur first love just ups and leaves no mention. I personally don't think jihos evil but I do think there was a better way to let his boyfriend know why he was leaving. I mean even yujin noticed that jiho was hiding something about his family life. If jiho would have said something I think the story would be different and yujin would be more understanding of him leaving.

He knew he lives alone in that huge house, what kind of functional family has a high schooler live alone, and how rich and powerful do they have to be to give him this huge house to live in alone? I know it’s common in manhwas for plot convenience but like….. And him not having seen love and care in his life to be so messed up wasn’t a clue for him? It’s like he was just obsessed with jiho without actually tryna SEE him, cause the clues were right there, and it took him a second to turn on him and treat him like “oh he was such a manipulator he just played with me and left and it meant nothing to him”, it hitting hard and immediately casting him off as the villain are different things
And jiho’s being controlled, abused, his phones switched and likely tracked, it could cause yujun and himself trouble if he contacted him and what would he even say in that situation? “Oh hey haha btw this is my situation I’m being sent away see you never ok bye”? It’s easy to say “oh just say something so he’s not worried” as if in his situation that’s not the least of his worries, and what would he say overall? “Oh my life is shit I’m being abused I have no control in life and no one that genuinely cared for me in my life”? He’s a teen with the one person that loves him that he loves, woudlnt you at least wanna have the little bit of pride you have left? Expecting him to spill all of that is expecting him to not be the person he is

Oops I meant to dislike… regarding that though. He doesn’t owe jiho anything. Jiho basically abandoned him, whether there was understanding circumstances, which btw yujin isn’t aware of. Idk what you’re so upset about. Yujin wasn’t cruel, I would say he was caring even despite the fact he is in the dark of why he was just abandoned by his lover. He fed him, wished him well and ended his one sided resentment with jiho. I say that was pretty darn healthy and mature of him.
Yujin isn’t blessed with the readers view, so to him, he was simply abandoned in his eyes, it wasn’t a noble sacrifice. Don’t invalidate yujin just because jiho was hurt. He was hurt by jiho, end of story.
And while yujin could see some clues of jiho’s homelife, he wasn’t told anything. He respected jiho boundaries of not wanting him to know so how could he assume he was being abused? Jiho could have said something, anything. We all know how forgiving and understanding yujin is. He would’ve waited. Blaming yujin is ignoring the pain he also experienced. Both boys are victims. Jiho of his family and teacher’s abuse, and yujin of Jiho’s abandonment with no closure.
Just siding with yujun is such an empathy lacking shallow take, ok fine his crush/bf ghosted him so what
And then you look at jiho and he's a kid that never saw love and care from anyone in his life except this one guy, and he lives in a cage with powerful people as his parents that can and do control his life and is forced to leave behind the one person that loved him that he loved. he has literally nothing to keep him going and yet yujun's little depressive episode is what it took for people to side with him???? Just cause yujun isn't breaking down cause this is the only life he's known so he carries on, he's suddenly the "evil twink"????
And WHAT chasing and redemption arc???? Like okay yujun was hurt fine but whats jiho's crime?? Is jiho any less hurt???? He feels so shit he threw himself in some toxic relationship cause he can't treat himself better but just cause yujun locked himself in the room he's the victim and jiho the asshole? How one dimensional is your reading comprehension fucking hell
