Honestly I hate how the story for the main couple ended. Hyesung was taken advantage of, baby trapped, and manipulated into giving birth and caring for the baby with Dojin even though that went against their original agreement. I honestly don't care that they had a soul bond or whatever, the author was just trying to add in more little details to make Dojin look good and make Hyesung look like a shallow train reck.
And all this bullshit about "Hyesung was a brat and a greedy b***h" is the same bullcrap that men spout when they say r@pe/assult vicims 'deserve' it. I'd be pretty pissed too if a rich man tried to pay me of to carry his baby after he impregnated me by mistake. And his personality has nothing to do with his trauma. Dojin could have had a baby with a surrogate or literally any other individual who CONSENTED to sacrificing their bodily autonomy.
I'm convinced that the author just hates Hyesung. The fact that Hyesung changed his mind about "loving" Dojin so quickly after they caught him and Heesoo was what pissed me off the most. He was literally willing to trust complete strangers in another country just to escape his life in Korea but then 5 chapters later he doesn't really protest or seem that resentful at all.
People forget that happily ever after doesn't always mean that two characters get married or fall in love. And Heesoo even tried to guilt trip Hyesung for abandoning Byul instead of worrying about the fact that an omega fresh outta labor had just ran out of the hospital. Hyesung said it himself right to Dojin's face: "What choice did I have!" This is the same thing that women in the real world have to deal with and I'm sick that people are glorifying it just because of the artstyle and the ending.
Disagree or hate on me if you want. I said what I said.
