Yeah they didn't follow the original novel,,novel is better because cliff change for good and marry a good woman...I don't like this version,though cliff did something horrible to Edith, I still want him to have a good ending and marry a good woman like in the novel...
I somewhat read its spoiler in novel. In novel the brother still become the duke and he became kind. In the story, he was strongly affected by the change because he was a protagonist. And at the end he was forced divorce sa OG fl due to her attitude and personality. And remarry another and he vecome stable.
