I'm highly fixated on Sangwoo since the very start as he's exhibiting signs of ASD but the story only speculated on him having a potential face blindness. He fulfilled the diagnostic criterion A1,2,3 B1,2,3 (highlighted during the beginning and C and D for Autism Spectrum Disorder. (Criterion A was for deficits in social communication and interaction, B for the ritualistic routine shown when he timed everything he does and doing the exact same thing everyday and causing him anxiety and stress when said routine was disrupted aslo his fixation on certain things, C for having the onset during childhood shown during the flashbacks, D for impairment in his social functions)
The miscommunication would've been avoided if he was stated to have autism because people around him would've been able to understand why he's acting the way he is.
(Forgive me for ranting/nerding out, I just finished our AbPsych exam T.T)
The author likely never intended for Sangwoo to be autisitic. They most likely felt like it wasn't their place to label him as such since they probably aren't educated on the topic.
