Honest opinion.

Listen I know people like crazy, I’m a sucker for a yandere story, too, but let’s be honest. I see a lot of people complaining about Yujin’s shitty personality, but that’s literally the reason why Sian could finally start feeling comfortable expressing herself with a dude. She was captivated by him, his looks, but was shocked when his true personality was revealed. This made bickering with him easy at the start from the initial shock, and then it just became a habit. Then that habit and exposure to Yujin made her feel comfortable enough to open up more, eventually being able to subside her anxiety with men, example casually talking to that male employee at the store. Yujin made her feel free. Yes, his character could’ve been developed better, but he was what she needed because he saw how she felt, acknowledged it and made the effort to shape his actions solely around helping her feel comfortable with him. That is why Sian ends up with him. Do I feel for Yul? Of freaking course. It wasn’t his fault his home life was shitty, it wasn’t his fault he got tormented over his looks, but when he had that chance with someone genuine, he held it in a chokehold, refusing to give the relationship and Sian room to breathe, to grow. The possession was suffocating. If anything, I wished for a spin-off with Yul finding happiness within his daily life, making friends and healing, but I am still happy with what we got in the last chapter. Closure. Sorry some of you don’t see to understand that, but I hope maybe you’ll be able to.
