Yep, the Korean law system is known to being quite Shitty and corrupt, favouring Korean men (esp those with money) over everyone else. Even for women there is no justice
Sadly that's the reality of kr law if you're a man, rich and powerful you get scott free maybe serve time for at most a year or 2... we have actual famous korean celebraties that are predators still roaming free
It's the law for korean, rapist do not get enough shit for what they did. They get out of it pretty easily. So many rape cases.
Plus not to mention the victim is a guy even if the perpetrator didn't come from money his sentence would be extremely light
