It seems that theres a pandemic when a char is going to confess. They suddenly have something to do and leave.
If you want a pretty good story with a strong Fl that doesn't do that, then I recommend ice flower knight. The ml confesses pretty much as soon as he realizes his feelings, and you know how long the Fl took to answer him? THE NEXT FRIGHIN DAY! she literally asked for some time, thought about it over night, and answered him the next day without all that awkward running away nonsense. Its one of the rare few stories where the leads actually communicate like adults. Plus there's no power imbalance at all since their work positions are the same, and their family background is too. Is the art the best? No. Is it a top 5 favorite story if mine? Also no (maybe top 10 of its genre). Still it is a refreshing read in a lot of ways and the Fl doesn't play around or take BS from anyone. Plus shes the perfect level of serious and cool headed without being a stone cold wall.
