He was delusional. It was never love, but obsession. He just wanted for her eyes to always be on his, but when he actually met the ‘real’ her, she was entirely different. She wasn’t acting or trying to come up with schemes to make him fall in love with her or anything. She was just living a normal but pathetic life and it shattered the fantasy. Then he lost all his privileges and ended up suffering in this strange world due to his lack of ability and knowledge. As a result, he ended up directing all his confusion and anger towards the person who basically screwed up his life and led him here, even if he initially came here by choice.
So uh does cliff only liked Reeze for her appearance? Why is he suddenly hurting the author then when he was the one who decided to meet her :/
