I remember reading this a few years ago when it was still ongoing. I love it so much back then but reading it now, it feels... complicated. The story started as humorous, which made me think it was a lighthearted bl with little to none of those toxic stuff (and fyi, I came to know this manhwa's existence due to a reader who stated that they would rather give their money to read lucky paradise than painter of the night) the manhwa hooked me up bc it's started out with the perspective of the top (Idk y but i just love reading seme pov, especially when they gush about their uke) but then we see that ml still hasn't sort out his feelings yet and that's okay, I don't mind drama, in fact, when I saw him looking so frustrated on the bed (after his late night tryst with that red head) and make that expression as if he's about to cry, it did something to my heart, like I just share the same feelings with the mc and just want to shower him with love and make him happy. That's why I don't blame the mc for pining after him despite knowing their relationship was toxic, I would too, but that adoration gradually die down when the mc turned from a golden retriever to... idk, a wolfhound? I can barely recognize him tbh. He's so different from who he was in chapter 1 that my heart goes to him more than the ml bc his current behavior reflect the consequence of forcing yourself to stay in a toxic relationship. Overall, happy for them that they ended up together, but sad that their love story changed the mc.
