I’m gonna tell you which part you were right about. Yes It comes out of mc’s mouth first I don’t remember if it was during a sex scene or not but he’s desperate to clear things up as soon as he realizes his feelings lol

I can already see it happen. And I know it's going to come out of MC's mouth first. Either during sex and ruin the mood, or when he won't be able to stand the situation anymore, will confess and cut ties with ML after being hurt over and over by this misunderstanding.
And maybe that's when ML will stop assuming the worst and change attitude.
