In my most humble opinion, I think it’s aight for now. Either
1.- follow the storyboard: the author intended to do it this way to create this inexperienced and awkward but still heated ambiance (let’s keep in mind that they are horny but it’s the first time they’re both going to date a man, and they thought bdsm was involved when neither of them knew nothing about it),
2.- personal preference: wanted to build tension

Honestly yeah but I feel like it's sticking true to their characters and their situation rn. Jigu is a virgin and Yeowoon is having his first time with a man while also being expected to hit him with a paddle LMAO so once they get more comfortable and on the same page with each other they'll be more into it. And jumping right into a super hot scene would've been such tonal whiplash at least to me... I feel like I'm not ready for it haha
