I read everything again and read some of the comments. And I just realised the dad is not even the worse among their parents, the dad was shity but at least he showed he cared (in the worse way possible but still) but the mom??? Nothing beside the "oh no my daughter is asleep" and it felt like for her she only had one kid, indifference is worse.
