I think this is such a lazy argument. We’re 20 chapters in deep and the author literally said that there was not going to be raped so I think there’s nothing wrong with people being disappointed not everyone enjoys seeing someone get raped even fiction it’s not pleasing to read. Some of you are just extremely desensitized and you don’t see the problem with constant rape being shown in BL. People have every right to be disappointed and express their opinion.

Didn’t know about the rape comment but I’ve also seen the author talk about simply writing what she believed the characters would do.
As a writer myself, oftentimes you have little control over what’s written. There are things that you tell yourself you will follow through with before writing, but just feel wrong in execution.
I could care less about people being disappointed. It’s the fact that you’re expressing this in a platform where you’re consuming it illegally and also where you’re being ignorant of what is normal in eastern media. Sure, you have the right to talk like immature teenagers, but it’s also in incredibly poor taste.
Take your grievances elsewhere where you don’t sound like an ungrateful leech.
I’m actually happy it went this route, felt like the natural thing to happen. And everything was building up to this. In the lens of reality, it’s horrific—sure. But consumption of a piece of fiction =/= support for it in reality.
I think a lot of people are conflating their boundaries with the boundaries of fiction. Their playing field has always been sex and the top has never alluded to being a merciful or kind person.
Don’t read if you don’t like it. This was not written for you.
