I personally like darker themes, where this shit is taken seriously etc. but for this case the author said there wasnt going to be rape (from what i saw) and their relationship building up wasnt hinting at straight up rape dude. This shit can make sense in a story where it makes sense, phycological, where its taken seriously, or its supposed to be distressing. None of what has happened so far hinted at it going in this direction so OF COURSE people are going to be taken off guard and feel this is off.

Stop being weird and telling people to read fluff when it SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BE FLUFF TO NOT CONSTANTLY HAVE RAPE. The baseline shouldn’t be rape or nothing at all/only pure love and rainbows unless the story was already calling for messed up and disturbing themes.

What??? LOOK AT ENZO. The man who literally pushed RYAN OFF A BALCONY. We saw this man literally man handle and fuck up a bunch of men. He clearly doesn’t like to be fucked with. Before Enzo even met up with Ryan, a bunch of people were being killed off for reasons I don’t remember that involves Enzo. Be so fucking for real. It’s completely in Enzo’s character to do something like that. And the author doesn’t need to keep their word about THEIR story. They can do whatever the hell they want. And in Enzo’s eyes, Ryan’s been consistently screwing with him and now he’s fed up. Obviously doesn’t give him the right to do what he’s doing, but it’s in character for him.

First of all, the author literally said that there was not going to be rape, and it was given no disclaimer so people are allowed to be shocked and disturbed not everyone is incredibly desensitized like most of you I also don’t know why you guys think it’s like some sort of flex that you don’t flinch or care about rape being shown. We understand that the story is toxic and messy, but that doesn’t mean the story needs rape I know it’s really shocking, but you can a toxic and dark relationship without sexual violence happening. Also you can’t put murder and rape in the same level one is in fact, much worse. Realistically, it wouldn’t be shocking that he’s a rapist, but it’s a fictional story. It doesn’t need to be added to his character to make him seem like an awful person.

If I don’t like something I’m reading, I simply find something else to read, because my bitching isn’t going to change anything. Especially, while reading on an illegal site, smh. Saying rape, between the two main characters, of all things is a small aspect of a story is an incredibly desensitized thing to say. In previous comments i and other commenters had explained why people are shocked and that i myself find dark themes interesting, I’ve always been drawn to darker themes, but the way you are acting is far from mature.

When you are told there will be no rape in a story by the author themselves, how tf do you expect everyone to go into the story EXPECTING rape between these characters? Not all dark themes go hand in hand, do you expect every violent or crazy character you come across in all media to be a rapist? No, right? And especially when you are told “this character isnt a rapist” by the author themselves, right? Because thats not a normal assumption. and if you enjoy dark themes like you proclaim, you should know this.

Dude… we all know there’s a lot of people that find BL mangas and manhwa problematic, and it has been like this for the 14 YEARS I have been reading this stuff!!! And yet you people continue to read it. Make it make sense. You continue to read a genre that has been what you people deem “problematic” for over a decade.

This argument to could also be made about murder. There are plenty of comics, shows, and movies with very graphic murder. There are people that have an issue with it, and yet films and media with murder are still made. If I’m not into murder or horror for example, I don’t watch or read anything with that content. It’s really THAT damn simple.

You need to stop comparing rape to murder because they’re not comparable at all. I’d rather be murdered or die than to be raped because rape is a selfish act and completely ruins people’s lives for a few minutes of pleasure.
