pretty sure im part of the first group, but i get what u mean. but like, it's not that i find people who read questionable stuff disgusting right away or anything. sometimes (a lot actually) i read trashy bls too. the ones i hate are the people who start whining the minute someone says the rape / abuse was unnecessary, or way too graphic, or is obviously fetish material for the author. they'll start calling others weak for not liking rape. they'll say well, fuck off and don't read it then. which is fair if somebody is complaining and yet keeps reading (jinx fans its yall), but the comment section is literally there for u to voice out ur opinion. according to them, if theres a rape scene in a "dark" manhwa, it's okay to call it hot, but not okay to call it disgusting or unnecessary (esp since we know it's usually not needed). I'm yapping a lot but yeah. when I'm reading a trashy bl & I see people shitting on it, I don't get butthurt over it. like ik it's shitty, and I'll just like or dislike the comment and move on. it's that easy. replying to every single person and telling them to drop it cuz they don't like ONE specific thing or scene is insane behavior.

There’s two types of fans in BL and actively consume BL like a hamster in a wheel that I hate the most.
You have your puritan BL fans. Fans who religiously read shonen ai and look down upon other BL fans who choose to diversify their reading lists with perhaps questionable Yaois. These types of fans harass normal BL fans and get off waving around their pristine record of just cute and fluffy BLs like that automatically will make them a runner up for the Nobel prize. Nobody cares about what you read, or how a good boy/girl you are.
