I’m pretty sure that’s why it’s black and not red. Anyway, his fated person was the gangster not Euhan/the ML but because his red string had been cut, the gangster latched onto the closest thing to the MC—his brother. It’s what resembles him the most and being that he’s not tied to anyone his soul or whatever is grasping at straws.
