As a former SWer I’m happy to see a story where the SWer keeps their job. It’s natural to have feelings of jealousy and insecurity, but it’s literally his job. I don’t think a lot of people have interrogated their own biases and whorephobia. And the expectation that your partner has to give up their job, when they even met through that job, is really harmful, especially when it hasn’t been brought up before they got together either.
