I experienced it myself and saw someone dear me crumble away in loneliness, depression, fear, trauma and self hate. They died like this and were older than 30
Mental health has no age when you never had a healthy support system to begin with.
People might call her weak and yes she is but the thing is she never really had a chance to get the self confidence and it was proven again in this chapter.
She was mentally and physically abused all her life and again emotionally dependant on the only person who she thought saved her from the hell just to push her into the same if not worse.
