I feel like the background story is to represent the attachment issues Na Haesoo had with dat piece of shit. It's probably like representing how she clung onto those past reckless memories which made it harder for her to notice that her husband had turned into someone she once feared; in the hope of his redemption/returning back to his past self ig? But isn't it unbelievable for someone to vividly remember his past and his activities for someone he adored once yet call her bland even when he was the main reason for her to get gloomy in the first place and besides wasn't she always kinda introverted? He is really a stupid manchild for guilt-tripping her for her own attitude, he himself had fallen for. His backstory doesn't even faze me honestly he's still a fucking ungrateful douchebag who cheated on his wife when she was taking multiple gigs at a time to pay off their loans.
