At the end, Mincheol gets bad news from the school and It was cut here. I think that was the only important thing. What happened? I don’t know korean.

Something I can rescue from the new chapters is that many people that excel in school and when they go to real world, they find that life starts getting more difficult and the reality hits you horrible. I can identify with that.

Otherwise about the relationship with Haesoo…
It was already implicit and explicit how their relationship was from the multiple flashbacks and inner monologues from Mincheol and Haesoo character during the whole series. I think most of the readers got that Mincheol changed due to his inferiority complex in the first half.

And I’m thinking the title Tears on a withered flower refers more about Mincheol as withered flower because he was happy with a bright future, excelling at school, and now he is just bitter because he kind of feels superior than everyone and the tears are from Haesoo who just cries for him.
